We All Rise
OMSI Circular Economy Charrettes
OMSI; universities and planning, architecture, and engineering firms from throughout the West Coast
We All Rise participated in a series of conversations surrounding the redevelopment of the area surrounding the Oregon Museum of Science of Industry (OMSI) with planners, architects, and engineers from across the West Coast. To ensure that the discussions incorporated diverse perspectives, We All Rise brought young Oregonians to the conversations, educated them on circular economic theory, allowed them to contribute to the planning process, and provided compensation. Because there was little to no age, racial, or gender diversity in the original workgroup, the contributions made by We All Rise and the individuals we invited to the charrettes were invaluable.
We All Rise contributed the following deliverables:
Educational materials on circular economic theory
Expertise on circular economic theory
Recruitment of young Oregonians for the conversations
